Airline Tickets

We are happy to book airline tickets for our regular customers, or in conjunction with cruises, land packages, or other travel arrangements. Unfortunately, the airlines refuse to recognize the value provided to the industry by professional travel consultants and have eliminated commissions completely while increasing the cost of access to the computerized reservation systems they control. As a result, it now costs us money to sell airline tickets! To offset these changes, we must charge a service fee of $15.00 per ticket for airline tickets which are not bundled in a cruise, tour, or land package booking. 

Full Service Ticketing

If you choose our ticketing services, The Travel Team will look for the best travel options that fit your scheduling requirements, airline preferences, and budget and present them to you. We will make all the necessary arrangements including seat selection, special meal requests, posting frequent flyer numbers, etc. A detailed itinerary with all the particulars for your trip will be prepared for you.

Internet Ticketing Options

All of the airlines, and a number of other internet booking services promote their web sites vigorously, promising speed, convenience, and the lowest available prices. Like most claims that sound "too good to be true," internet travel purchases are not without their perils.

When shopping for airline tickets on the internet, exercise extreme caution. Be sure to read the detailed rules attached to any ticket BEFORE you purchase. Don't forget to inspect the offered itinerary closely - it may involve many plane changes and a full day of travel and airport sitting to get a low fare.  Many internet tickets have stringent limitations. The internet marketing rule is clearly "caveat emptor" - let the buyer beware! Most internet purchases are non-refundable, and many are not changeable - even with payment of change fees.
